SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION ETHICS

Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS), is a journal published by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani, Cimahi Indonesia, first published in 2022. Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS) is a scientific journal published online and published 3 times a year. Journals receive research results, case reports, literature reviews (reviews), and other topics relevant to the field of medicine and health.

This scientific code of ethics statement is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely publishers, editors, bestari partners, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications basically upholds three ethical values ​​in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Justice, namely granting authorship rights to those entitled to become authors; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.

  • Publisher Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS), is responsible for publishing manuscripts after going through the editing, reviewing, and layout processes in accordance with the scientific journal publishing rules.
  • The publisher of Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS), is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for editors and Mitrabestari in carrying out their respective duties.
  • The publisher of Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS), is responsible for maintaining and protecting intellectual property and copyright, and editorial freedom.

Editor's Ethics and Policies

  • The editor of Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS), is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are eligible for publication through an editorial board meeting that refers to the applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism.
  • In the process of reviewing and accepting manuscripts, the editorial team of Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS), is based on the principle of equality of treatment in making the decision to publish manuscripts without distinction of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political ideology of the authors.
  • The editors and editorial team of Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS), will not disclose any information about the submitted manuscript or manuscript except with the permission of the author.
  • Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by the research editor of Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS) for their own benefit and will be returned directly to the author.

  • Mitrabestari Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS) is responsible for the recommendations of the manuscripts it reviews.
  • The manuscript review is carried out objectively and is supported by clear arguments.
  • Mitrabestari Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS) is responsible for citations, references, duplications, data fabrication, falsification of data, and plagiarism of the manuscripts reviewed.
  • Mitrabestari Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS) must always maintain the confidentiality of the information and not use information from the manuscripts it has reviewed for personal gain/interest.

Author's Publication Ethics

  • Authors must present the results of their thoughts or research clearly, honestly, and without duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism.
  • The author is responsible for the confirmation submitted for the manuscript that has been written.
  • Authors must show references to the opinions and works of others who are quoted
  • The author must write the manuscript ethically, honestly, and responsibly, in accordance with applicable scientific writing regulations.
  • The author does not mind if the manuscript is edited in the review process and layout without changing the substance or main idea of ​​the article.

Scientific Ethics Violation Policy

Articles submitted to Acta Medical Health Sciences (AMHS) in the process of publishing or after publication if it is proven that duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism will be immediately withdrawn and declared unfit for publication.
